An interactive outdoor cooking show in context.
Kristy-Lee (from Brisbane Aboriginal Sovereign Embassy, Meanjin Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance and red band of Yalarrng-nga) will be cooking Matjumpa (Kangaroo) tail whilst talking to the First Nations history, resistance and culture connected to the Queen Victoria Market. The storytelling will speak to the Red Ochre songline from Yallargna-nga (North Queensland) to Palawa-kani (Tasmania) and its relation to this place.
This project is supported by Wild Kitchen (@wildkitchenaustralia), a game meat specialist and trader within the Queen Victoria Market.
