Beneath the pavement, the earth

Beneath the pavement of QVM’s carpark lies at rich seed bank of indigenous plants, foods and medicines. Some of these life forms have crept their way up from the earth and onto the pavement. This shrine is to them, to the resilience of life that continues, ignorant of humankind’s designs on its future. Take a moment to honour them, leave an offering, take a breath and remember that beneath the pavement, the earth. Constructed on site from market-sourced materials.
